St. Cloud Fire Rescue Lt. David Miller Recognized as Employee of the Month by City of St. Cloud

Lt. David Miller from St. Cloud Fire Rescue was recognized as the City of St. Cloud’s Employee of the Month during Thursday night’s city council meeting for launching the Fire PALS Little Libraries program.

Fire PALS CommunityBooks has become a community-wide program where “Little Libraries”  Fire PALS boxes are stocked with fire safety information and children’s books at locations throughout the city of St. Cloud.

Short for Fire Prevention and Life Safety, Fire PALS is designed to encourage fire safety awareness through children’s books and fire safety activities. Each fire safety item is carefully selected to enhance the child’s ability to recognize an emergency and react safely. Your child could be the one to save another person’s life or your own.

A Fire PALS box is strategically placed around the St. Cloud community in locations where people frequently visit, like outdoor parks and other easily accessible areas.
