Starbucks fans, get ready — the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) is making its return on August 26, ushering in what many consider the unofficial start of fall.
Since its debut in 2003, the PSL has become Starbucks’ most popular seasonal beverage, with hundreds of millions sold worldwide. It was the third seasonal drink introduced by the company, following the Eggnog Latte and the Peppermint Mocha.
While the PSL once launched as late as September 8 back in 2015, its release date has steadily crept earlier over the years, reflecting growing demand for fall flavors. Made with real pumpkin and a signature blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, the drink has become a cultural phenomenon and annual tradition for many.
Customers can find the Pumpkin Spice Latte in Starbucks stores nationwide starting Monday, August 26.
