After a beautiful start to the day and new work week, severe storms are likely on the way to Osceola County and much of Florida on Monday. That’s a trend we’ll see for the rest of the week in Central Florida.

A strong weather front will move from south to north in the afternoon, and then stall out, potentially dropping heavy amounts of rain on areas throughout Osceola County and much of Florida.

Rain chances will be as high as 60% on Monday, with some storms being strong, to severe. There is a potential for strong damaging winds up to 50 mph, lightning and heavy rain in some areas.

The potentially severe storms will bring us the chance of afternoon showers through the Saturday with temps peaking in the low 80s all week. Be safe and have a Positively awesome week!
