With perfect spring weather and East Lake Tohopekaliga as the backdrop, the 42nd Annual Rotary Club of St. Cloud Spring Fling brought families, local businesses, and community leaders together for a day of fun, food, and fellowship at the St. Cloud Lakefront on Saturday.
The iconic community event featured over 150 vendors, crafters, and exhibitors, nine food trucks, and lively activities for all ages, including live music, children’s games, face painting, and much more. A highlight of the day was the Bass Tournament, which saw over 40 boats hit the water to compete for a grand prize of more than $2,500—drawing excitement from anglers and spectators alike.
Organized by the Rotary Club of St. Cloud, the Spring Fling is a shining example of the Rotary motto: “Service Above Self.” Rotary Clubs are global service organizations made up of business and professional leaders who work together to provide humanitarian services, encourage ethical standards, and promote goodwill and peace—locally and around the world.
“The Spring Fling isn’t just about entertainment—it’s about building connections and creating impact,” said a representative from the Rotary Club of St. Cloud. “We bring people together to support causes that matter to this community and beyond.”
Rotary’s mission goes far beyond one-day events. Their work focuses on addressing global issues such as fighting disease, promoting peace, providing clean water, supporting education, and growing local economies. These efforts are guided by Rotary’s core values: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.
This year’s event was made possible by generous support from Experience Kissimmee, Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, and other key partners including Gatorland, OUC – The Reliable One, Toho Water Authority, and more. The full roster of sponsors included civic organizations, small businesses, healthcare providers, and community advocates—all coming together to make the event a success.
As the final song played and the sun began to set, the feeling in the air was clear: the Rotary Spring Fling isn’t just an annual tradition—it’s a testament to the power of community working together with purpose.
