]]> OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Overnight traffic changes are now in effect along Interstate 4 in Osceola County, as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) continues a series of nightly ramp closures impacting access to key Central Florida destinations.

The eastbound I-4 off-ramp at Exit 62 (Disney World/Celebration) to World Drive and State Road 417 northbound is currently closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, April 17, 2026.

The ongoing closures are part of roadway improvement efforts and are affecting drivers traveling toward major destinations including Walt Disney World Resort, Celebration, and Orlando International Airport via S.R. 417.

Detour Routes in Place

During the overnight closures, motorists traveling eastbound on I-4 are being directed to Exit 64 (Kissimmee/Magic Kingdom) to reach their destinations:

  • World Drive (Northbound): Take Exit 64 and follow U.S. 192 west toward Magic Kingdom/Hollywood Studios, then follow posted signage to World Drive northbound.
  • World Drive (Southbound): Continue on U.S. 192 west and take the exit toward Celebration to connect with World Drive southbound.
  • Celebration Boulevard: From Exit 64, follow U.S. 192 east toward Kissimmee, turn right onto Celebration Avenue, then continue to Celebration Place and Celebration Boulevard.
  • S.R. 417 Northbound: From Exit 64, follow U.S. 192 east, turn right onto Celebration Avenue, then left onto S.R. 417 northbound.

Detour signage is in place to help guide drivers safely through the area.

Drivers Urged to Plan Ahead

FDOT is encouraging motorists to allow extra travel time, especially during overnight hours, and to remain alert while navigating the detours. The schedule remains subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Drivers are also reminded to reduce speeds in work zones and avoid distractions to ensure the safety of both motorists and roadway crews.

The temporary closures are part of ongoing efforts to improve traffic flow and enhance infrastructure along one of Central Florida’s busiest corridors.

Rutas Alternas en Uso
