<p>Blue Springs State Park, is the largest spring on the St. Johns River, which boasts 2,600 acres and is a manatee refuge and only takes 1 1/2 hours to get there from Kissimmee. The springs comfortable 73-degree temperatures are perfect for cooling off during the blazing summer heat. Swimming, kayaking, and paddling are popular amongst the pale blue waters in the swimming hole which is a quarter mile of perfection. There are also boat tours with narrated nature and ecological excursions throughout the area. Please note &#8211; swimming is not permitted during manatee season November through March. Admission is $6 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle. $4 Single Occupant Vehicle. $2 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass. Be sure to plan ahead and get there early because parking spots fill up fast.</p></div>

<p>The crystal clear spring waters, lush green surroundings, and undisturbed nature make Rock Springs Run a great spot to visit this summer. Launch a canoe at the 8-mile long King’s Landing and enjoy the beauty of the river while traveling downstream at a steady rate of 3-4 miles per hour down Rock Springs Run. Animal lovers can spot wood storks in the towering cypress trees, little blue herons and tri-colored herons foraging along the banks.</p></div>

<p>Located just an hour drive from Kissimmee you can swim in the crystal clear Wekiwa Spring where the water is a refreshing 72 degrees year-round! The spring’s natural open setting is perfect for spreading a blanket, having a picnic and enjoying the day. A swim lift is available for visitors who may have difficulties using the steps to enter and enjoy the spring water. The park is open 8 a.m. until sundown, 365 days a year. Admission is $6 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle, $4 Single Occupant Vehicle and $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
