The highly anticipated Taste of Kissimmee event took place on Friday, February 21 at Ruby Plaza in Kissimmee Lakefront Park, and it was a resounding success. The event brought together the community to celebrate local flavors, live music, and fellowship in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

City Commissioners Jeanette Martinez, Noel Ortiz, and Deputy Mayor Angela Eady welcomed the crowd as attendees made their way around the Ruby Plaza area. The event featured an array of delicious fare samples from local restaurants and vendors, refreshing beverages, and captivating live music performances that kept the energy high throughout the evening, with the help of some outdoor heaters to offset the mildly chilly air.

The vendors, including Ruby Plaza Cafe, Big Johns Rockin BBQ, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, Café Barista, Buster’s Real Ice Cream, Lechonera el Jibarito, Susana’s Café, Son Pastelitos, Gatorland, Toho Water Authority, Manila Grill Asian Fusion, and Onward Kissimmee, welcomed and greeted attendees with warm smiles, making it a memorable experience for all who attended.

Adding to the festive atmosphere and ensuring a memorable night for all in attendance, was the LIVE music provided by Audio Exchange and Gabo Fayuca.

The Taste of Kissimmee provided a unique opportunity for food enthusiasts, music lovers, and families to come together and enjoy the diverse culinary offerings of the region.
