Fans, students, and families packed the stands Friday night at Liberty High School’s home opener against Oak Ridge, and while the action on the field kept energy high, Toho Water Authority added an extra spark by bringing out its popular Water Buggy.

The Water Buggy quickly became a fan favorite, offering free, deliciously refreshing water to keep everyone hydrated throughout the night. From students celebrating with friends to families cheering on the Chargers, the gesture was warmly welcomed and deeply appreciated. Many fans expressed gratitude for Toho’s presence, saying it was a thoughtful way to support the community where it gathers most — under the Friday night lights.

The Toho Game of the Week is a brand-new initiative designed to take Toho beyond its usual appearances at parades and festivals, and instead, meet residents right where they are. The kickoff at Liberty proved just how powerful that connection can be, as Toho’s team mingled with fans, answered questions, and joined in one of Osceola County’s most cherished traditions.

Coming Soon to Poinciana, Gateway, and St. Cloud

This season’s pilot program includes four games across Osceola County. After Liberty, fans should keep their eyes open for the Water Buggy at upcoming games in Poinciana, Gateway, and St. Cloud. Each stop will bring the same energy, community spirit, and refreshing hydration that made the debut night such a hit.

Toho Water Authority has already expressed its appreciation to school administrators and athletic directors for welcoming the effort and says it looks forward to building Game of the Week into a lasting tradition.

Positively Osceola will continue to highlight Toho’s journey all season long, showing how community connection and Friday night football truly go hand in hand.
