Friday night lights are getting a new kind of community connection this season. Toho Water Authority has kicked off its brand-new Toho Game of the Week, a community engagement initiative that brings Toho’s team directly to high school football games across Osceola County.
The program, debuting tonight at Liberty High School’s home opener against Oak Ridge, was inspired by Toho CEO Todd Swingle. Swingle recognized that football is one of Osceola County’s biggest community traditions—and Toho Water is jumping in to celebrate the community by joining the excitement, meeting fans, and connecting with families under the lights.
Building Community Beyond Parades and Festivals
While Toho is known for engaging residents through parades, festivals, and other local events, the Toho Game of the Week aims to expand that reach. By setting up at select football games, Toho staff will connect with families, answer questions, and highlight their role in serving Osceola County.
This season’s pilot program includes four games, starting with Liberty High and continuing at Poinciana, Gateway, and St. Cloud.
Community Support
Toho expressed gratitude to school administrators and athletic directors across the district who have welcomed the initiative. The organization hopes to grow Game of the Week in future years, turning it into a lasting tradition alongside the teams and fans who make Friday nights so special.
Positively Osceola will highlight Toho Game of the Week throughout the season, starting tonight at Liberty High School, bringing fans closer to the action both on and off the field.
