The Osceola Sheriff’s Office arrested two men for robbing an elderly man and woman at knife point at a Kissimmee Walmart, located at 904 Cypress Parkway, on Monday afternoon.

Just before 4 pm on Monday, an elderly man and woman had just finished their shopping at the Walmart and were inside their car ready to leave, when a man suddenly confronted the elderly driver in the car threatening him with a knife. The suspect then pepper sprayed the man, reaching into the car and taking cash out of his pocket. The second suspect approached the passenger side of the car, opening the car door and forcing the woman from her car where he then threatened her with a knife. Both men then entered the car and began searching through the vehicle.

The two elderly victims began yelling for help in the parking lot which attracted attention from individuals in the parking lot. A number of individuals ran toward the elderly couple to help, which caused the suspects to run away.

One of the suspects ran into the nearby Dollar Tree, but was followed by one of the men who had run to help the elderly couple. The man removed the suspects ski mask from his face and then took the knife and shoes from the suspect,

The suspect then ran out of the Dollar Tree and into a nearby wooded area just east of the Walmart.

Osceola Sheriff’s Office Patrol units established a perimeter around the area and spotted the
suspects walking near the wood line. Both suspects were positively identified by the victim and the witness.

The suspects were identified as 18 year old Devonte Jamarion Anderson and 17-yeqar-old Elijah Barry Tsunami Redwood.
Both suspects were placed under arrest for Armed Robbery with a weapon, Battery on person
65 years or older, Aggravated Assault, Armed Burglary Conveyance and Petit Theft.
