ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is preparing to mark a major milestone this fall as its globally recognized Halloween Horror Nights returns for its 35th year, running select nights from August 28 through November 1.

Billed as the “World’s Premier Halloween Event,” this year’s celebration will span 48 nights at Universal Studios Florida and is expected to be the most expansive in the event’s history. Organizers say the 2026 edition will feature 10 all-new haunted houses, immersive scare zones, live entertainment, and themed street experiences—along with additional surprises still to be announced.

The park will transform into an “Infernal Carnival of Nightmares,” bringing together original storylines, classic Halloween Horror Nights lore, and recognizable horror influences. At the center of the experience will be fan-favorite icons Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow, who will headline a new haunted house titled “Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.” The pairing marks the first time the two characters will share the spotlight as co-ringmasters of the event’s chaos.

In addition to the scares, guests will have access to themed food and beverage offerings, exclusive merchandise, and select attractions within Universal Studios Florida throughout the event nights.

Tickets and vacation packages are now available, offering a range of options for guests. Single-night admission is on sale, along with add-ons such as Universal Express Passes, which allow guests to skip regular lines at haunted houses and select rides. Premium experiences include the R.I.P. Tour, a guided VIP offering with priority access, and the “Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror” tour, which provides a daytime, lights-on look at how select haunted houses are created.

Guests can also enhance their visit with the Scream Early ticket, granting access to the park beginning at 2 p.m. ahead of the evening event. Vacation packages combining Halloween Horror Nights admission, daytime park entry—including access to Universal’s newest park, Universal Epic Universe—and hotel stays are also available, with potential savings of up to $200 depending on length of stay.

Returning this year is the limited-capacity Premium Scream Night, scheduled for two dates: August 27 and October 19. The exclusive event offers reduced wait times and lower attendance, giving guests a more streamlined experience of the haunted attractions.

With four theme parks, 11 on-site hotels, and seasonal offerings across the resort, Universal Orlando officials say the destination is positioned as a top fall getaway for thrill-seekers and Halloween enthusiasts alike.
