Universal Orlando has made a change to its COVID-19 policy with its park guests who are fully vaccinated no longer having to wear masks indoors or outdoors beginning today Saturday, February 12.

The change comes nearly two months after Universal Orlando brought back the requirement for all guests and team members when Florida COVID cases were surging as a result of the omicron variant.

Those guests who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear face coverings while enjoying indoor spaces.

In another change, Universal Orlando team members who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear a mask indoors, outdoors, onstage, or in backstage areas.

Unvaccinated team members will still be required to wear a mask while on property.

The change in policy reflects the trend of lessening infections in Florida and in the nation.
