ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is bringing the spirit of New Orleans back to Central Florida as Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval returns to Universal Studios Florida in 2026, delivering weeks of festive parades, global cuisine, and live entertainment.
The annual celebration will run from February 7 through April 4, 2026, transforming the theme park into a vibrant, bead-filled celebration inspired by the traditions of Mardi Gras and Carnaval celebrations from around the world.
Nightly Parades & Street Festivities
At the heart of the event is Universal’s nightly Mardi Gras parade, featuring elaborate floats, energetic street performers, and thousands of colorful beads tossed to cheering guests. The parade winds through Universal Studios Florida, creating a lively, immersive experience filled with music, dancing, and Mardi Gras flair.
International Flavors & New Orleans Favorites
Food lovers can enjoy a wide selection of Carnaval-inspired food and beverages, with kiosks serving dishes representing cultures from around the globe. Guests can also indulge in classic New Orleans favorites such as beignets, gumbo, jambalaya, and other Cajun- and Creole-inspired offerings.
Live Concerts on Select Nights
Live music is a signature part of Universal’s Mardi Gras celebration. On select evenings, guests can enjoy concert performances by popular recording artists at the Universal Music Plaza Stage, included with regular park admission. The 2026 concert lineup is expected to be announced closer to the event.
Float Ride & Dine Experience Returns
Universal Orlando will once again offer its popular Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience, giving guests the chance to become part of the parade itself. The experience includes a three-course meal at select Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, or Universal CityWalk restaurants, followed by a reserved spot aboard a Mardi Gras parade float where participants can toss beads to guests lining the route.
Pricing for the experience starts at $94.99 plus tax per person, with discounted rates available for Universal Orlando Passholders.
Included with Park Admission
Most Mardi Gras festivities — including the parade, food booths, and select live concerts — are included with regular admission to Universal Studios Florida or with a valid Universal Orlando annual or seasonal pass. Some blackout dates may apply.
