Robert T. Overcash, 23, has been accused of killing his roommate, Shawn McKee, 41, during a fight Monday morning at their home in Narcoosee. Osceola County Sheriff’s Office were called to a disturbance at 220 Ketch Road in Narcoossee at 12:36am and upon arriving discovered evidence of a physical disturbance and quickly secured the scene.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the property and then made contact with Robert T. Overcash who had an active warrant for his arrest on an unrelated case. Overcash was taken into custody for the warrant and was cooperative with detectives.
Detectives located the body of Shawn McKee at the home, and after further investigation, Overcash was charged with 1st degree Murder and booked into the Osceola County Jail.
