We’ve moved into the second week of restaurants being able to serve on site and retail shops being open, and today hair and nail salons are permitted to open.

This no means is a sign we’re “in the clear”, the pandemic is over, or it’s time to let down our guard. In fact, the opposite is true. If you’re out and about to work, a store or getting your hair cut or nails done, double down on your safeguards — stay home if you’re not feeling well, keep washing your hands vigorously and carry a small bottle of hand sanitizer, maintain that six feet of separation from others and, when you have to be in close contact, wear your masks or face coverings.
