A 60-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Monday night around 7:40 p.m in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 192 at Vineland Road. in Osceola County, Florida Highway Patrol reported.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving his SUV south on Vineland Road when he collided with a car traveling west on U.S. 192 as they both entered the intersection at the same time.
The SUV left the road and struck a tree, troopers said.
The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to the FHP release. His passenger, a 60-year-old Kissimmee woman, suffered serious injuries, the FHP said.
According to the FHP report, no one in either vehicles was wearing a seat belt.
The driver of the car was a 23-year-old man from Orlando, and suffered minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation, and FHP is asking anyone who may have witness the crash to call the FHP at 407-737-2213.
