A student at Tohopekaliga High School tested positive for COVID-19, causing 22 students to self-quarantine who potentially had direct contact with the infected student, according to a school district spokesperson.

The 22 students were notified based on contact tracing of the student who tested positive. The 22 students quarantining will now switch to digital learning.

Tohopekaliga will continue its in-person classes, and the Florida Department of Health in Osceola County will offer COVID-19 testing for those who would like to be tested.
