On December 5th just before 7pm Osceola Sheriff Deputies responded to the Sevilla Plaza located at 4636 W Irlo Bronson Highway after receiving a report of an armed robbery.

Deputies spoke to the male victim, who thought he was going to meet with a girl he had engaged with on a mobile dating app, but when he left the store, three men posing as law enforcement officers approached him, one pulled out a handgun and told him he was under arrest.

The man believed the three men who were posing as officers and followed their instructions, which included escort them to his nearby hotel room . Upon arriving to the hotel the three men demanded money from the victim.

After taking the man’s money the three suspects fled the scene in an unknown dark colored vehicle.

On December 12th, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit located and arrested the three suspects, Kenneth Waldrop, Adam Zsiga and Terry Brown.

Zsiga was located in Lake County and Waldrop was arrested in Osceola County. Detectives learned that the victim was specifically targeted by the suspects after received several tips that helped in identifying the suspects.

All three suspects have been charged with armed robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault with a firearm, kidnapping, grand theft and Impersonating a LEO.
