Osceola County is inviting residents aged 55 and up to join in a fun, free, and friendly fitness opportunity as part of its Healthy Seniors Initiatives for July 2025. Commissioner Viviana Janer (District 2) is hosting a “Sit and Be Fit” seated exercise class on Tuesday, July 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Robert Guevara Community Center, located at 501 Florida Parkway in Kissimmee.
Designed specifically for seniors who prefer gentle movement, the class offers a low-impact workout that helps improve flexibility, circulation, and overall wellness. It’s a great way to stay active, laugh, and make new connections with others in the community.
The class is completely free of charge and part of Osceola County’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health, wellness, and social connection of its senior residents.
“We’re excited to introduce a variety of new activities at no cost, designed to support the well-being of our senior community,” said Commissioner Janer. “It’s about more than exercise—it’s about coming together.”
