The Kissimmee Fire Department is inviting the community to a special Car Seat Check-Up Event on Tuesday, September 10, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fire Station 12, located at 1403 Denn John Lane in Kissimmee.
Certified safety technicians will be on-site to inspect car seats, ensure they are installed correctly, and provide important safety tips for families. Parents and caregivers will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance to help keep their children safe on the road.
A limited number of free car seats will be available for families in need, courtesy of a generous sponsorship from Walmart. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis during the event.
No appointment is necessary, and families are encouraged to stop by anytime during the two-hour event.
