The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has announced that a man arrested earlier this year on charges of sexual activity with a minor is now also facing multiple child pornography charges, and investigators believe there may be additional victims.
According to the sheriff’s office, detectives began investigating Anthony William Falu Jr., 23, on May 3, 2025, following a report of sexual abuse involving a minor between the ages of 12 and 16. After obtaining an arrest warrant, deputies arrested Falu Jr. on August 21, charging him with one count of lewd and lascivious battery (F.S.S. 800.04(4)(A)(1)).
During the investigation, detectives also secured a search warrant for Falu Jr.’s cellphone. While reviewing its contents, investigators reported finding several images of child pornography depicting children between the ages of 4 and 9. As a result, an additional arrest warrant was issued, and on September 9, Falu Jr. was arrested for five counts of possession of child pornography (F.S.S. 827.071(5)(A)).
Falu Jr. has since been released from custody and is currently out on bond, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities also noted that an anonymous complaint was recently filed alleging that Falu Jr. may have engaged in sexual activity with other minors.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
