OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 20-year-old woman from Davenport died late Friday night following a single-vehicle crash along Osceola-Polk Line Road, according to information released by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at approximately 11:53 p.m. on February 6 along Osceola-Polk Line Road, east of Heritage Pass.
Investigators said the woman was driving westbound when she lost control of her sedan, left the roadway, and struck a tree. The impact caused the vehicle to become fully engulfed in flames.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Authorities have not released the woman’s name, and next of kin have been notified. The incident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
