ST. CLOUD, Fla. — The St. Cloud Lady Bulldogs softball team will look to continue one of its strongest stretches of the season Tuesday night when it hosts the Centennial Eagles in the 2026 FHSAA Class 7A regional playoffs.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. at St. Cloud High School as the Bulldogs enter the postseason showdown with an 18-10 record and a four-game winning streak. Centennial arrives with a 9-13 mark after advancing out of district play.

St. Cloud has been playing some of its best softball at exactly the right time.

The Bulldogs are coming off an 8-3 regional playoff victory over Tohopekaliga, marking their fifth straight home win and continuing a postseason surge that has included victories over Harmony, Celebration, Lake Howell, and the Tigers.

Senior pitcher Addison Felblinger has been dominant during the Bulldogs’ playoff push. Against Tohopekaliga, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while allowing just three hits and no walks. Felblinger also contributed offensively with a double and RBI at the plate.

Sophomore Madelis Reyes delivered one of her best performances of the season in the win over Tohopekaliga, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored, two RBIs, and a stolen base. Freshman Zhyra De La Cruz added two RBIs and a stolen base as St. Cloud finished with a season-best .438 team batting average.

The Bulldogs have also had success against Centennial earlier this season, defeating the Eagles 3-0 in March.

Centennial enters Tuesday’s matchup after defeating Wellington 5-3 in its last outing. The Eagles were led by Serenity Robinson, who finished with a home run, double, and two RBIs, while pitcher Makayla Megnauth struck out seven batters in the complete-game victory.

With a regional playoff berth and continued postseason momentum on the line, Tuesday night’s matchup sets up as another important test for a St. Cloud softball team that has caught fire late in the season!
