ST. CLOUD, Fla. — Thousands of residents and visitors gathered at Lakefront Park on Saturday as the City of St. Cloud hosted its annual 4th on the Lake celebration, honoring America’s 250th birthday with an afternoon and evening filled with patriotic pride, family fun, and community spirit.
Families arrived early, many dressed in red, white, and blue, filling the lakefront with lawn chairs, American flags, and smiles as they celebrated one of the nation’s most historic Independence Days.
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed live music by Modern Ties, exciting performances from the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Sami’s Kid Zone, glow-in-the-dark putt-putt, volleyball, yard games, food vendors, merchandise booths, and popular hot dog and ice cream eating contests.
As the sun set over East Lake Tohopekaliga, thousands gathered along the waterfront for the evening’s grand finale. At 9:15 p.m., an extended fireworks spectacular, synchronized to patriotic music, lit up the night sky in honor of the nation’s semiquincentennial, drawing cheers and applause from the crowd.
“This was an incredible way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday,” one resident said. “The atmosphere, the entertainment, and the fireworks made for a truly unforgettable evening.”
Another attendee added, “St. Cloud always knows how to bring the community together. Tonight was a wonderful celebration of our country and our hometown.”
Presented by the City of St. Cloud with support from Orlando Health, OUC, Dairy Queen, and the VFW, the annual celebration once again showcased the community pride and hometown spirit that make 4th on the Lake one of Central Florida’s premier Independence Day traditions.
As families headed home beneath the fading glow of the fireworks, this year’s celebration served as a fitting tribute to 250 years of American freedom, history, and unity—and a reminder of the enduring spirit that continues to bring communities together.

CLOUD, Fla. — Miles de residentes y visitantes se reunieron el sábado en Lakefront Park para disfrutar del tradicional 4th on the Lake, donde la Ciudad de St. Cloud celebró el 250.º aniversario de los Estados Unidos con una tarde y noche llenas de patriotismo, entretenimiento familiar y espíritu comunitario.
Familias enteras llegaron desde temprano, muchas vestidas de rojo, blanco y azul, llenando el parque con banderas estadounidenses, sillas de jardín y sonrisas mientras celebraban uno de los Días de la Independencia más históricos del país.
