KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County officially opened its new headquarters in Kissimmee this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, reinforcing its commitment to supporting children, families, and early learning providers across one of Florida’s fastest-growing counties.

The celebration took place at the Coalition’s new location at 1950 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, where leadership and staff were joined by elected officials, community partners, and families to recognize the expanded space and its growing impact on early childhood education in Osceola County.

As the county continues to grow, demand for accessible, high-quality early learning services has increased. The new headquarters positions the Early Learning Coalition to better meet those needs—providing a welcoming, efficient, and innovative environment that strengthens services for families and child care providers alike.

“At the heart of our agency, there is a simple belief, also reflected in our logo: when we lead with heart, we create lasting impact,” said Amanda Kelkenburg, CEO of the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County. “Every family who walks through these doors deserves to feel supported, respected, and empowered. Every child deserves a strong start, and every educator deserves a place where collaboration and excellence can thrive.”

Funded by the State of Florida, Division of Early Learning, the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County is dedicated to developing and implementing high-quality services that increase learning opportunities for young children throughout the community. The organization connects families with critical early education resources while also supporting and strengthening the local early learning workforce.

Among the Coalition’s core services are Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R), which helps families find quality child care options tailored to their needs; Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK), a free program that prepares children for kindergarten success; and School Readiness, which assists eligible families with child care costs so parents can work or pursue education while their children continue learning.

The Coalition’s new headquarters was intentionally designed to enhance collaboration among team members, allowing staff to work more efficiently and effectively in support of families and providers. Despite recent state budget cuts, the organization embraced the redesigned workspace as an opportunity to innovate and optimize how services are delivered throughout Osceola County.

The space itself is designed to inspire. Its bright, playful, and vibrant atmosphere immediately sparks curiosity—especially for children. A key feature of the lobby is the Early LearnHub, an interactive area where young learners can explore, imagine, and play while caregivers begin the process of enrolling in early learning programs. The child-centered design reflects the Coalition’s belief that early learning begins the moment families walk through the door.

“This space represents our commitment to the community we serve and to the future we are helping to build—one child, one family, and one caring connection at a time,” Kelkenburg said.

In addition to serving families, the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County provides professional development, coaching, and resources for early learning providers, focusing on program quality, early literacy, positive interactions with children, and continuous improvement across the early education system.

With its new Kissimmee headquarters now open, the Early Learning Coalition of Osceola County stands ready to continue expanding access, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has the opportunity for a strong, successful start.
