An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday for Alanda McCoy, a missing 4-year-old Florida girl,  but has now been  canceled shortly before 1 p.m.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the girl was found and is safe.

Law enforcement is searching for Alanda McCoy, who authorities believe was abducted Tuesday night.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) says Alanda, 4, was last seen in the area of the 6000 block of Berry Hill Road in Milton.

Authorities identified 27-year-old William “Bill” Kavchak as the possible abductor, saying Alanda “may be in the company of Kavchak.”

The Milton Police Department (MPD) said Alanda’s mom knows Kavchak and that they left the Santa Rosa Medical Center at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to go get ice cream and never returned.

Authorities were notified of Alanda’s disappearance at 3 a.m. Wednesday.

Kavchak is described as a white male with brown hair and eyes, and is about 6-feet, 175 pounds.
The FDLE says Alanda was last see wearing a yellow spaghetti-strapped tank top underneath a black t-shirt, a light colored skirt and blue flip flops.

Kavchak could be traveling with Alanda in a 2007 green Mercury Montego with the Florida tag number Y53UNW.
The FDLE says there is a dent on the right front passenger bumper and that the tail lights have plastic covers with silver lines on them.

Anyone with any knowledge of  Alanda’s whereabouts or information about her abduction should call the MPD at (850) 983-5423.
