Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden made it official today. California Sen. Kamala Harris will be his vice presidential running mate for the 2020 election.
She is the first Black woman and first Asian American person on a major party’s presidential ticket.
There had been guess work by many that because Harris was an outspoken opponent of Biden during the democratic nomination process, Biden may have gone with Susan Rice, but Harris it is and will be as the two democrats take on incumbent President Donald Trump.
Biden made the announcement ironically in a tweet… one of President Trump communication tool of choice.
