The luncheon, chaired by the Osceola Chamber’s Chairman and Osceola Magic Vice President Carlos Velez, highlighted key legislative and infrastructure developments impacting the county, while Congressman Darren Soto addressed federal achievements, notably the progress on NeoCity. Jack Adkins, FDOT District 5 Director of Development, shared current and future transportation projects in response to Osceola’s rapid growth.
Walt Disney World Resort’s Elizabeth Watkins, thanked the legislators and shared exciting updates from the Disney parks, including the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Rebekah Hurd, Manager of Government Advocacy for AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division, emphasized the crucial role of the chamber’s Government Advisory Committee in steering civic engagement and advising the Chamber board.
