Boil water advisory in effect for customers in the Poinciana area due to water main break

Toho Water Authority (Toho) repaired a water main break under Reedy Creek and has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers who were impacted in the Poinciana area.

Additionally, customers who use potable water for irrigation are asked to use it sparingly over the next few days while more permanent repairs are put into place.

Customers are advised to boil their water for one minute prior to consumption (drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes).  As an alternative bottled water may be used.
