Road and ramp closures associated with the State Road 417 near Narcoossee Rd. and Florida’s Turnpike are scheduled to begin Sunday night and continue through Thursday. Central Florida Expressway Authority is asking drivers to use caution if driving near the construction areas and to allow for extra drive time.

• Sunday, June 11 to Thursday, June 15, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Narcoossee Road under SR 417 will be closed nightly for bridge work. Northbound drivers will be directed to travel north on SR 417 to Moss Park Road (Exit 23) and follow the detour signs. Southbound drivers will be directed to travel south on SR 417 to Lake Nona Boulevard (Exit 19) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map. • Sunday, June 11 to Thursday, June 15, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The northbound SR 417 ramps to Florida’s Turnpike (Exit 12) will be closed nightly for bridge work. Drivers will be directed to exit at Landstar Boulevard (Exit 14) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map. Tolls associated with this detour will be suspended while it is in place. • Sunday, June 11 to Thursday, June 15, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The southbound SR 417 ramps to Florida’s Turnpike (Exit 12) will be closed nightly for bridge work. Drivers will be directed to exit at US 441/South Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 11) and follow the detour signs. Click here for the detour map. Please allow extra travel time. Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, work could be delayed. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews. 

This work is for a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from International Drive to SR 528/Martin B. Andersen Beachline Expressway, which started in February 2021 and is expected to be complete by summer 2024.
