The City of St. Cloud will resume the LIVE broadcasting of its public meetings, with closed captioning, beginning with its first council meeting of the new year this Thursday, January 10th.

The city’s IT Department and Public Information Office has worked hard to make sure that its broadcast videos are in accordance with ADA requirements and that closed captioning is part of their LIVE streaming of the city’s public meetings.

This Thursday’s city council meeting can be viewed LIVE on Access St. Cloud SCTV cable channel 499 and online at www.stcloud.org and will include closed captioning.

Congratulations to the City of St. Cloud and to those in the community who will benefit from the addition of closed captioning to the city’s broadcasting. These types of technology upgrades can be highly beneficial to the community, but they can be challenging for organizations to provide due to the complexity of some of these tech upgrades. Well done St. Cloud!
