On Saturday, the community came together to wish a very special lady a Happy 99th Birthday… and her name is Pat Rudd!
A train of cars, St. Cloud Police and St. Cloud Fire Rescue slowly made their way past the VFW across from St. Cloud City Hall, bringing beautiful flowers and birthday cards, all to to wish 99 year old Pat Rudd a happy birthday.
Pat was one of the first Navy nurses deployed to Pearl Harbor after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941. She and her late husband lived in Alaska, ran a hunting camp in Alabama, and lived in Saint Cloud for many years.
Positively Osceola was honored to capture the drive by parade and to speak to Ms. Rudd afterwards. It was an absolute honor to spend some very special time with her, and to wish her a very Positively happy 99th! Happy Birthday once again to Pat Rudd!
