Osceola County saw a modest increase in coronavirus cases on Saturday, rising from 201 Friday night to 216 Saturday according to the Florida Department of Health, less than the 12-20 percent increases from earlier in the week.

Better news yet is that deaths (4) and hospitalizations (58) locally remained unchanged all day.

The 34744 ZIP code, which includes Kissimmee Bay, Remington, the outskirts of Buenaventura Lakes, and the eastern parts of the city limits of Kissimmee, has the highest number of county cases with 46, according to the DOH.

The state of Florida saw an increase of 1,277 cases Saturday to 11,545, matching the 12 percent increases or so from the rest of the week.
