A 73-year-old woman is dead, and two others were injured after a crash at the Narcoossee Rd and Boggy Creek Rd intersection just before 9pm Wednesday night, according to FHP.
Florida Highway Patrol said a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 71-year-old male from Palm Bay, was heading north on Narcoossee Road toward the intersection of Boggy Creek Road when it turned left onto Boggy Creek Road and struck the left side of a Volkswagen that was driving south on Narcoosee Road.
Troopers said that the driver of the Volkswagen, a 73-year-old man from Michigan, and his two passengers in the Volkswagen were taken to the hospital. The driver of the Silverado was not injured and remained on the scene.
A female passenger in the Volkswagen was pronounced dead at the hospital, FHP said.
Northbound and southbound lanes on Narcoossee Road near Boggy Creek Road were closed during the crash investigation.
