Ahead of this Saturday’s reopening of Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, Disney has released a detailed list of the safety precautions the parks have put in place in order to keep guests and cast members safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Disney has added increased cleaning and disinfecting across their parks and resorts, and has updated their health and safety policies. Disney guests will experience reduced capacity, mandatory face mask wearing and temperature screening.
Technology will be a big part of Disney’s reopening with the introduction of digital lines and expanded magic bands.
Disney is using its Disney apps so guests can locate hand sanitizer stations and to look at digital menus in order to reduce lines and guest interaction.
According to Disney there will be plenty of cast members explaining the new safety guidelines throughout the parks.
