District One Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry is inviting senior residents from across the community to participate in an upcoming Senior Community Focus Group on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Society – Kissimmee Village.
This important gathering is designed to give senior residents a platform to share their experiences, insights, and concerns. The goal of the focus group is to foster open dialogue and gather valuable input that will help guide efforts to improve senior services and support across Osceola County.
By participating, the community will help:
-
Highlight the strengths and assets of the local senior community
-
Identify challenges and issues impacting older adults
-
Contribute to building long-term solutions that promote better services and quality of life for seniors
“As leaders, we must listen to the voices of our senior residents to ensure their needs are being met and their concerns addressed,” said Commissioner Choudhry. “These focus groups are an opportunity to connect directly with the community and work together to make meaningful improvements.”
The event is open to senior residents living in Osceola County, and all feedback will be used to inform future community planning, resource development, and policy decisions aimed at supporting aging populations.
