OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Republican Donald A. Shroyer is looking to represent District 4 on the Osceola County Commission, bringing decades of military service, public service and community leadership to the race.
A U.S. Army veteran and lifelong Osceola County resident, Shroyer previously served two terms on the St. Cloud City Council, including time as deputy mayor. His campaign says that experience, along with years of working with local and regional leaders, has given him an understanding of the challenges facing Osceola County as the community continues to grow.
Shroyer has also been involved in local schools and community organizations through volunteer service and was previously recognized with an Elected Official of the Year Award.
His campaign is emphasizing what Shroyer describes as practical leadership and common-sense solutions focused on families, neighborhoods and the local business community.
Among his priorities are supporting law enforcement and first responders, strengthening infrastructure to keep pace with growth, and using his knowledge of Osceola County to improve county government and residents’ quality of life while creating an environment where local businesses can succeed.
Shroyer’s campaign is also highlighting his victory in the 2026 Politics in the Barn Straw Poll as the Republican primary approaches.
Early Voting is underway in Osceola County through Sunday, August 16, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Registered voters may cast their ballot at any of the county’s 11 Early Voting locations.
Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 18, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Election Day, registered voters must vote at their assigned precinct.
