Families can celebrate the world’s tallest animal during World Giraffe Day at Brevard Zoo on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The special event marks the longest day of the year and highlights giraffes through interactive activities, educational presentations, and themed animal enrichment. Guests will learn about giraffe training techniques and discover the unique adaptations that help these iconic animals thrive.

Visitors can participate in hands-on activities throughout the day, including creating giraffe headbands and handprint art. The Zoo’s giraffes will also receive special themed enrichment designed to encourage natural behaviors and provide engaging experiences for guests to observe.

World Giraffe Day activities are included with regular Zoo admission, giving families an opportunity to combine wildlife education with creative fun during a day at the Zoo.

The event offers guests a chance to learn more about giraffe conservation while celebrating one of the animal kingdom’s most recognizable species.
