Florida Highway Patrol is on the scene of a fatal crash on the Florida Turnpike, in Osceola County that took place at 9:10 am this morning.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes at MM 198 and involves a car that ran into the back of a semi-truck.
The driver of the passenger car was pronounced deceased on the scene. The right southbound lane is blocked for the investigation. Please look for alternate routes and if driving near the scene of the accident please use extreme caution.
