A 54-year-old woman was walking southbound along Poinciana Boulevard on the right side of the road around 9:30 pm Monday night when a Ford SUV that was traveling in the same direction hit her with the side mirror as it passed her.
After being hit by the Ford SUV the woman came to rest in the roadway and was fatally struck by another vehicle which then failed to stop. The unknown vehicle is described as a grey sedan with possible front end damage.
Anyone with information on the unknown vehicle is asked to call FHP at 407-737-2213 or Crimeline. This crash remains under investigation.
