Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS quickly extinguished a fire Sunday evening at 4880 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, formerly known as the Star Motel, after receiving a 911 call about smoke and flames coming from the motel.

Once on the location of the fire, fire rescue team members witnessed heavy fire and smoke coming from the motel. Within minutes the fire was extinguished and searches of the structure were conducted.

No one was injured in the incident, and the State Fire Marshal office was contacted to perform an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
