Kissimmee Utility Authority now has the printed version of its 2020 Osceola Hurricane Handbook available at its 1701 W. Carroll Street offices available. So grab your mask, stop by, keep six feet away from anyone else and pick one up.

It’s a free comprehensive preparedness guide offered annually to Osceola County residents. Put together as a partnership between KUA, Osceola County, the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud, Toho Water Authority, UF IFAS Extension in Osceola County and Positively Osceola, the 40-page handbook includes very important information residents will need if a major storm approaches or affects Osceola County. That includes information on emergency shelters, evacuation routes, generator safety and power outage restoration as well as helpful telephone numbers, a disaster supplies checklist and a tropical cyclone tracking chart.

The handbook can be downloaded from KUA’s website at www.kua.com/hurricane.

To get a copy of the printed handbook in the mail, call KUA at 407-933-9838 or e-mail hurricane@kua.com.
