Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed longtime Osceola County leader and business professional Tim Weisheyer to the Florida State University Board of Trustees. The appointment is effective August 30, 2025, and is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Weisheyer is a well-known figure in Central Florida’s business and civic community. He currently serves as the Owner and Broker of Dream Builders Realty, President and Broker of DBRCommercial Real Estate Services, and CEO of Strategic Advantage Consulting. His leadership extends beyond business, with a strong presence in community and educational service.

He is the current President of the Florida Realtors Association and Chair of the Osceola County Chamber of Commerce. Weisheyer also previously served on the Osceola County School Board and was elected President of the Florida School Boards Association during his tenure—demonstrating a deep commitment to advancing education in the state.

Weisheyer began his academic journey at Valencia College and has since become a respected advocate for growth, development, and leadership across Osceola County and Florida.
