The spirit of the holidays filled the Buenaventura Lakes community as families gathered at the Robert Guevara Community Center for Parranda with Santa, a festive celebration hosted by Osceola County Commissioner for District 2, Viviana Janer.
The event brought together residents of all ages for an evening filled with traditional Puerto Rican parranda music, laughter, and holiday cheer. Live performances set the tone as families enjoyed refreshments, posed for photos with Santa Claus, and celebrated the season in a warm, lively atmosphere.
Children received free toys while supplies lasted, adding to the excitement and creating memorable moments for families throughout the evening. Additional parking and shuttle service from 65th Infantry Park helped ensure smooth access for attendees and supported a well-organized community event.
Commissioner Janer said the event focused on bringing neighbors together during the holiday season.
“Parranda with Santa is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate the holidays, and enjoy time with family and friends,” Janer said. “Seeing the smiles on children’s faces and families enjoying this special night makes all the planning worthwhile.”
Parranda with Santa offered residents an opportunity to enjoy a festive holiday experience close to home while celebrating cherished traditions. The evening concluded with music, laughter, and lasting memories, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines the BVL area during the holiday season.
