This week’s upcoming warm weather will serve as a reminder that it won’t be long before we’ll be looking for some “relief from high temps,” and Island H2O Water Park is inviting everyone to hit the waves as it reopens for its 2023 season, Friday, March 10, with an all-new Instagrammable pop-pop “Selfie Spot Beach.” This is a limited time experience for families to capture the perfect family photo and share on social media.
“We are thrilled to welcome guests back to our water park, just in time for the spring break season,” said Island H2O Water Park Senior Regional Director of Marketing Todd Andrus. “We are constantly working to innovate and create experiences that not only offer value to families but most importantly, that are joyful and memorable for all ages.”
The first of its kind, Island H2O Water Park is themed around social media with selfie stations, video booths and on-ride photos to share with friends and family on social media. Visitors to “Selfie Spot Beach,” located just inside the main entrance, will be able to play and take “beach-themed” photos with oversized pool inflatables, beachballs and more.
The pop-up beach is just an example of several fun events and offerings that the water park has lined up for the season that will go from themed Movie Nights by the wave pool to egg hunts, foam parties and more. To experience it all, the park is offering a season pass for just $59.99 per person ($50 savings); benefits include unlimited visits in 2023, free friend ticket, free parking, free souvenir drink bottle and discounts at select Sunset Walk locations.
