Walt Disney World park officials have announced that the 2020 ‘Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party’ at Magic Kingdom will be canceled, because many of the event’s components like fireworks, parades, and stage shows can’t take place during these uncertain times.

On another unfortunates note, Disney H2O Glow Nights, a nighttime event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, will also will also be canceled for the remainder of 2020.

Disney is said to be making decisions on ‘Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party’ and the ‘EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays,’ including the Candlelight Procession.

As has been previously released, Walt Disney World will begin reopening its parks to the public in July. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will open on Saturday, July 11. Then, Hollywood Studios and Epcot would open days later on Wednesday, July 15.

Mandatory temperature checks and masks, will be part of its carefully managed reopening in order to keep guests and cast members safe.
