Early Tuesday morning, April 16th around 6:00 A.M., Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the Econolodge at 2934 Polynesian Isle Boulevard in Kissimmee after being called about a possible armed robbery. The victim reported that a black man, armed with a silver semi-automatic pistol, robbed the clerk of the hotel at gunpoint.

According to the Osceola Sheriff’s office the suspect ordered the clerk to give him everything in the register and got away with an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspect is described as a black male, slender-weighing about 140-150 pounds, approximately 23 to 25 years of age, between 5’6” and 5’8”, wearing a blue “hoodie” with the draw string pulled tight, black tight pants, black “slides” on his feet and a dark bandana over his mouth.

The suspect left the business and headed south on Polynesian Isle Boulevard. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to serving our community and increasing public safety.
