A 70-year-old man was arrested by Osceola County Sheriff deputies for leaving the scene of a fatal crash after his car fatally struck a motorcyclist in Osceola County.
The man was driving eastbound near Hwy 192 and Diplomat Circle in Osceola County in his 2017 Mercedez SUV when he attempted to make a left hand turn, unfortunately the man turned directly into the path of a motorcycle, ejecting a 32-year-old man from his 2018 Honda, who died from his injuries.
The man driving the SUV briefly stopped and then left the scene of the crash. Osceola deputies located the Mercedez SUV and the driver and placed him under arrest for leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
Alcohol was not a factor and the crash remains under investigation.
