KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The City of Kissimmee is preparing to celebrate Independence Day with one of Central Florida’s largest annual Fourth of July events as the Monumental Fourth of July returns to Kissimmee Lakefront Park on Saturday, July 4.
This year’s celebration carries added significance as communities across the nation commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence. City officials are inviting residents and visitors to gather for an evening of live entertainment, family activities, food, and a fireworks spectacular overlooking Lake Tohopekaliga.
Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, 201 Lakeview Drive, with live performances on the main stage featuring headlining musical duo Nina Sky. Throughout the evening, DJ RayRock of Party FM 93.9 and Tyesha Williams will serve as event hosts, keeping the celebration energized until the night’s grand finale.
The evening will conclude with a fireworks display over Lake Tohopekaliga at approximately 9 p.m., weather permitting.
Families attending the celebration can enjoy the KUA Kids Power Zone on the Veterans Lawn, offering interactive games, activities, and entertainment for children of all ages. Food and beverage vendors will also be available throughout the park.
The annual event is supported through partnerships with Kissimmee Utility Authority, Toho Water Authority, and AdventHealth, whose sponsorship helps make the community celebration possible.
City officials encourage attendees to arrive early and bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the festivities. To help maintain a safe environment, personal fireworks, grills, and tents will not be permitted inside the park.
Free public parking will be available at the Toho Square Parking Garage, 92 Pleasant Street, and the Kissimmee Intermodal Parking Garage, 205 E. Dakin Avenue. ADA-accessible parking will be provided at the Big Toho Marina Overflow Lot, 69 Lakeview Drive.

La celebración de este año tendrá un significado especial al conmemorarse el 250.º aniversario de la independencia de los Estados Unidos. Funcionarios de la ciudad invitan a residentes y visitantes a disfrutar de una noche llena de música en vivo, actividades familiares, comida y un espectacular show de fuegos artificiales sobre el lago Tohopekaliga.
