A 41-year-old Kissimmee man died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning near Orlando, according to Florida Highway Patrol. The fatal crash took place around 3:14 a.m. on Orange Blossom Trail, just south of Taft Vineland Road.

According to FHP’s crash report, the man was driving an SUV in the inside northbound lane when he lost control, hitting a concrete median. The impact caused the driver to overcorrect, sending the SUV off the road where it collided with a curb, struck a light pole, and ultimately overturned, landing on its roof.

Tragically, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said the man was likely not wearing a seat belt.
